D4 Season opened in Shoreline in 2022 as Seattle's first specialized head spa. We now run two studios with one menu. Prices are identical at both. If you want help with a flaky scalp in Seattle North, either studio works.
If your scalp feels dry and tight
Book the D4 Signature Head Spa 60 min $85. It includes head massage, scalp cleanse, shampoo and conditioner treatment, upper shoulder massage, hydrotherapy and a blow-dry. For a longer version, step up to the Luxury Head Spa 90 min $135. That one adds a hair repair treatment and an upper shoulder and arm massage. If your scalp feels oily, heavy or coated
Book the Purifying Scalp Care 90 min $168. The menu describes it as deep cleansing for excess oil and product buildup. It also includes a scalp serum and red LED light. The Chinese Herb Head Spa 60 min $90 suits an oily scalp too. It uses Chinese herbal ingredients and a scalp essential oil. Our guide to head spa for oily scalp names both of those sessions.
When you cannot name it

Plenty of guests arrive and say they simply do not know. The scalp feels off. Something changed this year. That is a normal place to start.
Book the Aura Scalp Treatment 75 min $110. It opens with a scalp analysis, so the looking happens before the choosing. The rest of the 75 minutes includes aromatherapy inhalation, scalp massage, deep cleaning, shampoo and conditioner, a blow-dry and a scalp serum. A complimentary facial mask comes with it.
The Aura Scalp Treatment does not include hydrotherapy. If warm water over the scalp matters most to you, book the D4 Signature Head Spa 60 min $85 instead.

What if I cannot tell whether my scalp is dry or oily?

Which sessions include hydrotherapy?

Only three treatments on the whole menu include it. The Classic Head Spa 45 min $70 is one, for short hair only. The D4 Signature Head Spa 60 min $85 is the second. The Luxury Head Spa 90 min $135 is the third. Hydrotherapy simply means warm water over the scalp. The Chinese Herb Head Spa and the Purifying Scalp Care do not include it.
What is the red LED light in the Purifying Scalp Care?

The menu lists red LED light as one part of the Purifying Scalp Care 90 min $168. Deep cleansing and a scalp serum are the other listed parts. We make no claims about what the light does. It is included in the 90 minutes at no extra cost.
